“Uses craft skills to solve a perennial problem without making a special case out of it”

Help the Aged is a UK charity dedicated to creating a world where older people can live their lives free from poverty, neglect and isolation.

As well as providing practical support to help older people, particularly those who are frail, isolated or poor, live independent lives, it raises public awareness of issues affecting older people in the UK and overseas, fundraises, campaigns against discrimination and advises on national and regional policy.

Help the Aged also operates an advice line, publishes information and guidance, and runs a nationwide network of charity shops.
